Dr. Roberto Maal graduated in 1993 from Louisiana State University Dental School in New Orleans. After graduation, he successfully completed a two-year General Practice Residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, the V.A. Hospital in New Orleans and the V.A. Hospitals in Biloxi and Gulfport Mississippi.
The General Practice Residency is a hospital based residency with emphasis on surgery and reconstruction. During the residency Dr. Maal completed numerous cases with his mentor and friend, the world-renowned cosmetic dentist and guru, Dr. Gerard Chiche.
In December 2005 Dr. Maal completed a 10-month mastership in Implant Dentistry at the Atlanta Center for Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Maal is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society and the C. Edmund Kells Honor Society.
Dr. Maal has a state of the art practice on Nine Mile Road, adjacent to Sacred Heart Medical Group at Milestone.
Dr. Maal performs a wide variety of dental procedures including preventive, restorative, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics (gum treatment), endodontics (root canals), crown and bridge, partial dentures, dentures, dental implants, Zoom and internal whitening.
